For this outdoor wedding in the centre of the Midwestern metropolis, the backdrop could not have been more perfect. More than 200 guests were asked to share in Kim and John’s special day, and the ceremony was graced by one of the most amazing sights in the city, a view the couple decided to highlight by tying the knot at Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis.
The Scene: The ceremony took place on the Hotel’s rooftop terrace, offering a stunning backdrop and view that is quintessentially St. Louis—the Gateway Arch. Afterwards, guests were treated to a chic indoor reception in the ballroom, complete with gourmet food, cocktails and dancing. The black-and-white colour palette and sleek furnishings created a modern downtown vibe that perfectly reflected the wedding’s urban setting.
Magical Moment: It was near perfect timing. The sun began to set and the sky turned a beautiful shade of blue as the couple said their “I do’s,” becoming husband and wife.
The Bride and Groom: This St. Louis power couple knows how to make it work—literally. In addition to being in love and sharing their life together, Kim and John also worked together at one of the top political firms in the state of Missouri.
The Bride Wore: Kim opted for a strapless Badgley Mischka gown with a shirred bodice and shredded, layered skirt. On her feet were a pair of fabulous jewel-encrusted peep-toe booties by Sam Edelman.
The Honeymoon: For their honeymoon destination, the couple chose Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea for a bit of fun in the sun before heading back to work.
