For centuries, women have relied on corsets to achieve the fashionable silhouette of their time. This season’s bridal market designers put a new twist on the corset by showcasing the craftsmanship of their boning and revealing the structure within. Sheer fabrics such as tulle and lace allow us to see the form and function of the corset, while prominent boning seams allude to it.
