Jan 11, 2013

This past fall, travel blogger Rachelle Lucas spent 22 days travelling the world with Four Seasons. During her stop at Four Seasons Resort Hualālai at Historic Ka‘ūpūlehu, she ate like a local and even got a little wild. When she stopped into the Resort’s Ka‘upulehu Cultural Center, she was a novice to the Hawaiian tradition of lei making. But a helpful training session from local historian and lei expert Kaleolani turned her into a pro. Watch the video to learn more about the art of making leis and the history behind these floral symbols of “Aloha.”
