Between the shopping, sight-seeing and dining, Manhattan’s Midtown area offers Tina McLelland plenty to do on her day off from her concierge post at Four Seasons Hotel New York. After a morning stop at MoMA (10:30 am is the best time to visit), McLelland ventures a few blocks north to shop Bergdorf Goodman. St. Patrick’s Cathedral and Rockefeller Plaza are some of McLelland’s favourite Midtown haunts, and the theatre district between 42nd and 53rd streets is her go-to spot for some of the world’s best live entertainment. When she’s not taking in the sights, McLelland loves to explore the neighbourhood culinary scene.
