Washington, DC: Even though I grew up in suburban Maryland and got to enjoy school field trips to the Smithsonian museums and the National Zoo, there’s always more to see. If I can visit this spring when the weather gets nice, I’ll make room for some outdoor activities. I’ll either bike the C&O Canal towpath or else rent a kayak and paddle the Potomac. —Spencer Carney, Managing Editor, Four Seasons Magazine

Istanbul, Turkey: Beyond the “Europe meets Asia” cliché, which is intriguing in itself, Istanbul offers a novel exoticism that begs to be explored, whether encountering layers of history at its domed mosques and Roman ruins, shopping in the Grand Bazaar, cruising the Bosphorus, exploring hidden restaurants and bars, or unwinding from it all at the new Ayasofya Hurrem Sultan Hammam. —Darren Frei, Editorial Director, Four Seasons Digital

Langkawi: Both island oasis and wildlife extravaganza—my mind drifts to the exotic lemurs, dusky leaf langur monkeys and civet cats, the lush rain forest, and of course the mangrove wetlands. —Amanda Eyer, Digital Editor & Community Manager
