Milan Canal Cruises Explore Lombardy

Four Seasons Hotel Milano is setting sail on Lombardy’s historic canal system with daylong, customised cruises; guests can take in the beautiful countryside, visit historic villas and dine at a restaurant tucked inside a 14th-century inn.

Guests travel along the Naviglio Grande, a canal whose origins date back nearly nine centuries, in a 9-metre motorboat that can accommodate up to 15 passengers.
“Milan is known mainly for business, shopping and nightlife, but the boat trip on the Naviglio Grande introduces a different side of our city—and the beautiful Lombardy countryside,” says the Hotel’s General Manager Vincenzo Finizzola.

After a leisurely lunch, guests may choose to take a limousine back to the Hotel or re-board to travel by boat to Milan’s fashionable Navigli district. Costs for the boat tour vary, depending on the number of passengers and preferred amenities.
