Head Concierge Merlin Armance of Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita recommends an exciting, action-packed itinerary that showcases some of the best experiences on this volcanic island. Get a bird’s-eye view of waterfalls, explore rare and beautiful natural wonders, and end the day with a sumptuous meal of local specialties and a thrilling fire show.

Island-hopping to Île aux Cerf
Take a sunrise speedboat cruise to the nearby island, known for its white sand beaches, starfish-filled blue waters and breathtaking lagoon. After a day of snorkelling, indulge with a picnic overlooking the Indian Ocean.

The waterfalls of Chamarel
From the Resort, helicopter to the southwest coast to visit the highest falls in Mauritius. Be sure to check out the natural phenomenon of the Seven Coloured Earth sand dunes. Here the sand spontaneously settles into layers of several colours, including yellow, blue and purple, creating a surrealistic tableau.

Casela Nature & Leisure Park
Enjoy a delightful combination of Mauritian and Indian food at the hilltop restaurant overlooking Tamarin Bay. Afterwards, catch a glimpse of the 1,500 birds, big cats, zebras and other exotic animals that call the park home.

Quad biking through Domaine de L’Étoile
Explore the island on a two-and-a-half-hour quad biking tour through sugar cane fields and along mountain trails. An experienced guide will take you off the beaten path and point out the spectacular flora and fauna of the island.

Private fire show
Savour a multi-course dinner on the beach, followed by a dazzling fire show. Choose “Rossini” duck foie gras with a truffle glaze or signature Italian cuisine from Acquapazza, one of the Resort’s four restaurants.
