17. Seminyak is a shopper’s paradise in paradise as the regional “strip” for high-end boutiques. Balinese label Biasa opened a new store here earlier this year, and Italian designer Milo’s can be found here, too. Bali is among the world’s best destinations for swimwear, and Blue Glue is sure to make a splash with its quality fabrics and intricately detailed pieces. Custom women’s footwear designer Ni Luh Djelantik has created shoes fit for Hollywood stars the likes of Uma Thurman. Internationally known jewellery designer John Hardy (Bedeg Silver Wide Cuff pictured) hails as Bali’s iconic silversmith, while exquisite craftsmanship by Jean Francois Fichot sparkles in gold, silver, precious stones and a variety of natural materials. Bali Fashion Week celebrates the world’s fashion and accessory designers.
