Mellow Yellow: Cedella Marley Designs for Team Jamaica
Cedella Marley's Team Jamaica kit pays homage to the Jamaican flag and to her reggae legend father.

Cedella Marley—fashion designer and daughter of reggae legend Bob Marley—teamed up with Puma to design uniforms for the Jamaican team, including track contender and “world’s fastest man” Usain Bolt. The outfits have a distinct Jamaican look and feel, with gold, green and black colours. The men’s opening ceremony shirt, for instance, is called the “Buffalo Soldier button down” and has the phrase “Positive Vibrations” stitched inside the collar. Colours aside, Cedella Marley designed the apparel with the athletes in mind, saying “I really want the clothes to be able to show off every muscle.”
