Babymoons aren’t just for brand new parents. When I was 25 weeks pregnant with my third child, I headed to Malaysia’s
Four Seasons Resort Langkawi with my husband and four- and five-year-old daughters. We found ourselves looking around and thinking, “Does it ever get any better than this?”

Our exquisite Family Beach House, right on the oceanfront, had a private pool where the kids splashed for hours while my husband and I lounged on the over-sized daybed. Our girls loved the beach toys that the Resort supplied, along with cuddly batik monkeys to snuggle at night.

When we could pry ourselves away from our villa, we played in the Family Pool, which provides cool towels, plenty of shaded areas, ice pops and smoothies blended with everything from lychee to watermelon.

Our daughters also spent time at the complimentary Kids for All Seasons club with supervised activities along the lines of beach games, yoga and batik painting. This gave my husband and I time to slip away to the Adult Quiet Pool for an hour or two, or to indulge in massages at the Geo Spa.
