Tangerine Blossom from Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village, California, is created by mixing homemade Tancello (like Lemoncello, but made with tangerines instead of lemons), with lavender syrup and fresh tangerines.
Some 36 Four Seasons hotels in North, Central and South America were challenged to create a cocktail using only locally sourced ingredients. Limited only by their imaginations and a 100-mile radius, the hotel mixologists put their own spin on a 100 Mile Cocktail. Four Seasons hotels in Los Angeles’ Beverly Wilshire, Dallas, Lana’i, Maui, Jackson Hole, Miami, Palm Beach, San Diego, Santa Barbara, Scottsdale and Westlake Village all created vodka-based cocktails. Also vodka-based was the Kōa Wai cocktail from Hualalai, which tied for first place overall with Boston’s creation—the Nor’Easter, a whisky drink.
