Some 36 Four Seasons hotels in North, Central and South America were challenged to create a cocktail using only locally sourced ingredients. Limited only by their imaginations and a 100-mile radius, the hotel mixologists put their own spin on a 100 Mile Cocktail. Four Seasons hotels in Los Angeles’ Beverly Wilshire, DallasLana’i, Maui, Jackson Hole, Miami, Palm Beach, San Diego, Santa Barbara, Scottsdale and Westlake Village all created vodka-based cocktails. Also vodka-based was the Kōa Wai cocktail from Hualalai, which tied for first place overall with Boston’s creation—the Nor’Easter, a whisky drink.
