For Cruise 2013, Frida Giannini modified the uniform of the world’s current number-one female horse-jumper, Gucci-sponsored Edwina Alexander, to make it multifunctional—it’s daywear as well as riding attire.
Made from fine, technically advanced fabrics, the collection brings the glamour of sporting to your everyday wardrobe. Composed of 15 ready-to-wear pieces, including riding jackets, pants, shirts and polo tees, the collection has a classic colour palette (beige, black, light blue and pure white) that makes it timeless.
The accessories, made with the fine craftsmanship and modern design Gucci is famous for, include a saddle embellished with Guccissima leather, Nappa leather gloves, a velvet-covered riding cap and a silk foulard with illustrations evoking classic riding equipment.
The collection will be available at select Gucci boutiques worldwide and on the website this fall.
