Armani Goes for Gold with the Italian Team
Armani is outfitting Italy's best athletes in sportswear with high style.

Designed under the Emporio Armani EA7 sportswear label, Giorgio Armani’s stylish kit—issued in a set of Armani-designed luggage—includes asymmetrically-zipped podium tracksuits and minimalist ensembles (think polo shirts and Bermuda shorts) for village wear. Armani incorporated a colour palette of dark blue and white into the design scheme, rather than the traditional red and green colours associated with Italy’s flag. The effect is no less stylish and stirring—in a nod to national pride, the opening ceremony jacket has the lyrics to Italy’s anthem stitched on the inside.
