Tip #1: In Miami, the echoes of Cuba are everywhere. For a taste of old Havana, head to Calle Ocho and visit Versailles, the legendary restaurant known for its palomilla (steak). After the meal, be sure to sip an espresso to pep yourself up for a night of dancing.
Tip #2: Want to experience one of South Florida’s signature beaches without the big crowd? Try Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park, a palm-fringed slice of paradise on the edge of Key Biscayne.
